It reached -2.7 centigrade and it didn't get much further -1°c. It was not bad, less people than we expected. Naughty!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The birds were few, although I heard that the Hawfinch was there. This is the last time you hear my wittering on in 2008, so, look out, the new year is nearly here.

Waxwing at Hereford
I met Andy Carey, http://andrewcareyphotography.co.uk/main2.htm and we both set off for a wonderful day, searching for the Waxwings. There, we also met Chris Grady and lots of birders.
This was my first sighting of such a beautiful bird. I have many shots, so I will put them up whenever I am in need of something.

I saw Chris Grady at New Fancy View, and he told about the Wild Boar, and what you should feed them. So, I am off to to find them, it might some time, but I am convinced that I'll find them. You can find Chris's website on http://www.wildlife-imaging.co.uk/

Starling in my garden
It was not a brilliant day, in fact, it was shambolic. I didn't do very much, oh, it was today that I found out, the way forward for us (can't walk very far or can't walk at all) to raise the matter of walking in the countryside, when you come to a stile, but can't go any more. So, I will try to change that. I know of many such gates, stiles and just a fence.
