Golden-tailed Dragonfly at the Forest of Dean

It was about this time I'd seen them last year, in Nagshead, not the place that I found them. There were two of them, floating and stopping for a rest.

Jackdaw (Lydney)

It is pleasing, searching in the ground for some food. Of course it will get some, people always have plenty.

Otters at Slimbridge

It is a picture of absolutely gift of an Otter. The trip was under threat, I went without the 1.4x extender, and I had 2x extender. Funny really, I really could have taken pictures with nothing. I cried.

Cinnabar moth at Foxes Bridge (FOD)

Sedge Warbler (Newport Wetlands, RSBP)

I had a lovely day at Newport Wetlands, a long way from the Forest of Dean. There were a lot of pictures, but they all came out badly, there was a strong wind, that blew away the good sort of pictures. As you can see, they were a bit blurry.

Calf (The marshes, Lydney)

The calf was wobbling, first steps.
And, wobbled around trying to feed his mum
This is when he'd just been born
Now, it's walkies time.
The mothers time, come and drink. It is that time, does he ever think, that he is going to be a meal for anybody.
