I had just before setting up the photographic unit, when I spotted the Chiffchaff. So I clicked it, and I was anxious to get one a little closer, and came the woman and her lovely dog. Boo hoo...............

Whitethroat (Naas Lane, Lydney)


There I was, sitting on peoples wastage of things like cars wheels, parts of household refurbishment or other things that I can't mention. When I saw these Whitethroats, chasing each other around, and it sure made me happy. So, I learnt every thing, while I was sitting there on people waste!!

The Blackcap female. I have been looking for one for ages, but, it keeps avoiding me. I have spotted them many times, but not for this blog. Ah well, it was in a place where I couldn't get to and the light was getting dark. She was hiding behind a lot of leaves but I wanted to show the whole of her in the pictures.

This morning wasn't too bad, but, the afternoon wasn't very nice, with loads of showers. I'm glad that I had done with birdwatching this morning, but not the poor old dragonflies and butterflies! I think they wont mind too much.

Otter at Slimbridge WWT


Had a bit of fun today at Slimbridge, I saw the Otters. They are loads of fun, I'm amazed the things that they amused themselves with. Well, they look quite happy there.

It was a dull day, overcast and a drop of drizzle. The only way to get photographs, was to go out and catch them. Sadly, I couldn't get one, so its my turn to find some. Ah, there they are, hiding.
