Marsh Tit (FOD)
It's not snowing up here inthe Forest of Dean, but it is frozen, brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr. The Marsh Tit has been moving here and there, avoiding the weather. Not good for them.

This one has been ringed, can who knows the place he/she came from. It reads F3 on one side and the other side theres 94, but I couldn't get in far enough.
And this is one for you Dave.As you can see, there are still lots of berries, yum yummy.

Common Pheasant (FOD)
It was a good day, lots of sun and cold, chatter chatter chatter, went my teeth. It was -2 degrees. And I, would dream of being rather good at getting the pheasant properly, but, me and the camara didn't agree, as you will tell.

Nuthatch at the Forest of Dean
I was a bit stuck with the time, I only had 30 minutes to photograph, so, it was the Nuthatch under my right eye. By the way, which eye do you use to photograph?

Moorhen (Lydney boating lake)
We had about 15 minutes when it became lovely sunshine, I was out doing the shopping. But, I might get one shot or three. So, I had a bit of luck, it was a Moorhen. Trusted friend.

Wren, hiding. (Lydney canal)
I caught a darling Wren this morning, hiding from something. I don't know what it hiding for, but it's tucked away between the brambles and the post. No tail I'm afraid.

Probably it is a female Papilio dardanus, (the African Swallowtail, Mocker Swallowtail or Flying Handkerchief).
I don't know what it is, a butterfly I think lol. If anyone can remember what it is, tell me! Oh yes, it was raining, hence the butterfly.
